WARCRADLE Dystopian Wars: Ergun Battlefleet Set

    Out of stock, 1-3 weeks

The Ergun Assault Battleship has no peer when it comes to leading landing operations. Most naval forces believe in the idea of multiple, smaller vessels. Admitting that while they may lose some, they can’t lose them all. The Emperor believes that losing troops before they’ve even made landfall is madness. To this end, the Empire built the Ergun. A resilient battleship that can take the fire of coastal defences before reaching its target. Volleys of alchemical rockets and gun battery fire pummel into enemy emplacements and shore defences as the vessel closes in. This makes the Ergun a huge target for fire which canny Commodores can make use of by setting up feints and counterattacks. This helps to mitigate the damage taken by the Assault battleship before it reaches the shoreline. Then with a clash of metal, the ramp descends and the assault begins. Once the troops have disembarked the paddlewheels easily extricate the behemoth from the land and back to sea, all the better to support the troops from afar. Contents: 1x Ergun Assault Battleship (may also be built as Heilong Class) 2x Diyu Immolation Cruisers (may also be built as Yaoji, Mekong, Wuhan, Lantau or Qiang Class) 2x Hexie Hover Zebeks 1x Yanshi Firebase 2x Escorts 2x SRS Landing Troops Please Note: Miniatures are supplied unpainted and some assembly will be required.

WARCRADLE Dystopian Wars: Empire Sky Bastion Squadrons

    Out of stock, 1-3 weeks

The truth of it was mundane. It had to be. It existed in the world so it could be explained with material engineering and Newtonian physics. Despite that, Kai Chen couldn’t help but look upon the site with wonder. His first aerial posting was aboard the Ziwei Sky Bastion, 'Abundant Peace'. This was the first time since leaving the mainland that he’d had the chance of a quiet moment for himself and so he stood, gazing out at the open ocean. Shafts of sunlight pierced the clouds and danced across the glassy sea. The noise of the engines was partially blocked out by his crew-issued earplugs but he could feel the rumble of it through his feet on the deck. Perhaps the rarified air at this altitude made the light refract strangely or perhaps the lower oxygen made him giddy but either way, for a moment, he found a blissful state, knowing that the view he’d imagined in his dreams was even greater than he could imagine. Contents: 2x Ziwei Sky Bastions (may also be built as Qianshao Class) 2x SRS Tokens (B) Please Note: Miniatures are supplied unpainted and some assembly will be required. Unit Cards are not included and can be found on the Dystopian Wars website.

WARCRADLE Dystopian Wars: Zhanmadao Battlefleet Set

    Out of stock, 1-3 weeks

Kai Chen had joined the navy to escape his rural life, see the world and do his part for the Celestian Empire. He’d heard about the Zhanmadao in training camps but even after learning about their use as a central command unit for a battlefleet and seeing diagrams, he was still awestruck when he finally saw a ‘castle in the clouds’ for the first time. The size of the Fortress was almost incomprehensible to him, larger than any of the naval vessels he had seen in his life by far. The sun played across it and cast shadows in the same way the buildings of his barracks and offices did. Kai wondered at the power that would keep a thing like this in the air. The crew alone needed to man this wonder of engineering must be in triple figures. That it carried a squadron of fighters as well as their support staff hadn’t yet crossed his mind and already he found it dizzying. At that moment Kai Chen knew he had made the right decision to join the navy and would make it the rest of his life’s work to be posted aboard a Zhanmadao. This was an example of the Empire’s glory and no-one could stand against it. This box contains: 1x Zhanmadao Sky Fortress 2x Ziwei Sky Bastions (may also be built as Qianshao Class) 6x SRS Tokens Please note: Miniatures are supplied unpainted and some assembly will be required. Unit Cards are not included and can be found on the Dystopian Wars website.

WARCRADLE Dystopian Wars: Japanese Support Squadrons

    Out of stock, 1-3 weeks

Mizuchi Submersible Carriers hold swarms of Rin Exosubs, ready at a moment's notice to attack the enemy no matter their location. Those who think themselves able to escape danger, whether by air or under the surface may find it to be the last mistake they ever make. Squadrons of Chubu hunter submarines prowl the Sea of Japan and beyond looking for targets of opportunity. These deadly vessels are armed with multiple torpedo launchers to achieve a swift kill. Sakata Heavy Destroyers combine firepower, speed and group tactics to present a formidable and tenacious foe to the enemies of Japan. The shadows of Japanese submersibles had been spotted on an intercept course. With no sign of any Miyagi or Okinawa nearby and no long range visuals of a Tianlong in the area, the usual aerial support of such a battlefleet, it was just a case of waiting for them to surface and picking them off with supporting fire from their collective storm vanes. A Koromodako breached the waves, its steel tentacles waving impotently. The bridge crew of the lead Kreigsturm shared a grin as the orders were made to fire upon the helpless submersible. It took a little while for one of the junior officers to notice that other vessels had appeared at a different heading. Strange little machines swarmed around; Rin Exosubs. Flying in formation they ducked to the safety of the depths to avoid fire. Perhaps this would not be such a one-sided engagement after all? Contents: 2x Japanese Submersibles (may be built as either Koromodako, Kensai, Ryujin, Mizuchi, Umibozu or Kagutsuchi Class) 2x Chubu Submarines 2x Sakata Destroyers 2x Rin Exosub Tokens 4x Chita Escort Automata Please Note: Miniatures are supplied unpainted and assembly will be required.

WARCRADLE Dystopian Wars: Heilong Battlefleet Set

    Out of stock, 1-3 weeks

The largest vessel produced by the Jiangnan Shipyard in Shanghai, the Heilong strike battleship emphasises combined attacks with deadly rocket and Huoqiang fire to annihilate its foes. While not as large or impressive as some of the heavier Japanese vessels, the Heilong is still an impressive sight and inspires confidence in her allies and dread in her foes. A heavy assault ramp replaces the prow of the Ergun assault battleship. Volleys of alchemical rockets and gun battery fire pummel into enemy emplacements and shore defences, as the vessel closes in, then with a clash of metal, the ramp descends and the assault begins. Scores of heavy infantry pour forth to storm the defenders and sweep away all resistance. This box contains: 1x Battleship (Can be built as either a Heilong or Ergun Class ship) 1x Tianlong Draconic Colossus 1x Cruiser (Can be built as either a Jian, Wusong, Meru or Dao Class ship) 2x Gong Destroyers 2x Shanghai Class Frigates Please note: Miniatures are supplied unpainted and some assembly will be required. WARCRADLE Dystopian Wars: Ika Colossus Squadrons

    Out of stock, 1-3 weeks

Since the creation of the first primitive maps, there have been parts of the world where monsters lay and sailors fear to wonder. The Empire have been inspired by this to create their own monstrosities of the deep. Marvels of engineering created not only to sow fear and doubt in the minds of their enemies but also to demonstrate the mechanical mastery of the Empire. Using the most advanced engineering techniques, overseen by Empress Shinzua herself, huge automata in the form of giant squid have been developed and successfully engineered. The instruction cylinders for these submerged creations are among the most complex outside of the Enlightened fleets. They have become horror stories told about only when crews are safe on shore leave. Any survivors refuse to discuss them while at sea should they incur the wrath of the Ika. In this way the Ika have become exactly what they were designed to be, the monsters that sailors fear. Contents: 2x Ika Colossus (can be built as either a Kaiju or Okuforu Class Colossus) 4x Chita Please Note: Miniatures are supplied unpainted and unassembled. Unit Cards are not included and can be found on the Dystopian Wars website.

WARCRADLE Dystopian Wars: Tianlong Battlefleet Set

    Out of stock, 1-3 weeks

The Tianlong Draconic Colossus uses a combination of rotor engines and repulsion fields to remain aloft. Originally created to patrol the airspace near the Zhanmadao Sky Fortresses and Ziwei Sky Bastions, the Tianlong swoop down, their skilled crews getting the most out of these marvels of Engineering. The Tianlong can be outfitted with different weapons located in the mouth and tail. The choice of the Heavy Huoqiang or the Heat Lancette is a difficult one for most Captains to make. The Heavy gun battery can also be removed in favour of additional crew space to house a squadron of Bushi Ryu. These highly trained Samurai use rocket-propelled armour to descend to assault enemy vessels in hand to hand combat. Despite the fact that King Sun Li of Korea holds responsibility for all air technology the Emperors Ming and Shinuza have utilised a loophole to jointly commission the construction of a Draconic Colossus to provide air support for their own units. This has caused some amount of frustration for The Cloud Dragon and he has tried to have the Colossi decommissioned or brought under his oversight on several occasions. The Forum, however, has resisted such moves to dismantle such magnificent symbols of the Empire. There are occasions when squadrons of Tianlong are sent on strike missions, if so they are often supported on the sea by Gong destroyers. These fast, but well-armed vessels are ideal for long-range, fast attacks, complimenting the Draconic Colossi well. The Tianlong Battlefleet Set kit builds nine multi-part plastic miniatures; 3x Tianlong Draconic Colossus 6x Gong Destroyers Please note: Miniatures are supplied unpainted and some assembly will be required. Unit Cards are not included and can be found on the Dystopian Wars website.

WARCRADLE Dystopian Wars: Magenta Battlefleet Set

    Out of stock, 1-3 weeks

Named after the Alliance victory against the Imperium in 1859, the Magenta class is the pride of Napoleon’s levant fleet. These powerful battlecruisers are capable of hovering a hundred meters or more above the sea bringing their powerful heat lances or other weapons to bear. The Saint-Michel Levant Assault Carrier is often the centrepiece of a Levant focussed battlefleet. Flight crews of the fighter craft that launch from Saint-Michel are often known as ‘Anges de la Mort’ as a matter of pride. The agility of the skimming Levant Carrier allows it to surge to great heights then descend upon the enemy as scores of ‘angels’ unleash the wrath of President Louis-Napoleon. The mainstay of the Levant style of ships is the Chasseur Levant Strike Cruiser. Their ability to soar above their enemies if need be makes them hard to precinct as does their various ways of being outfitted. Gun batteries, heat lances or force multiplying generators; even seeing a Chasseur on the horizon makes no guarantee what you might actually be facing in battle. No captain wants to see an enemy craft soaring above them but the Furieux Levant Grand Corvette make ones blood freeze in terror. That could be the last time the crew feels cold as the Furieux releases deadly thermal cluster bombs. Even the bravest crews know to be rightfully scared if they spot a Furieux rising into the air ahead of them. As fighter pilots rise in the ranks they may be promoted to become flight crew on a Voliere Levant Support Carrier. The launch catapults put greater strain on pilots and landing on a Levant that could be at almost any height takes incredible skill. Despite this, pilots elevated to this level are often competing with each other to gain more confirmed kills so they can be promoted once again to become the Angels of Death aboard a Saint-Michel Assault Carrier. Part of Napoleon’s modernisation of the French navy, the Sirene is a powerful attack vessel able to close undetected until it surfaces with its deadly heat Lancette in range to do maximum damage to the enemy. The tactical counterpart to the Sirene class, the Epaulard uses its secretive deployment to surface at a distance and employ its magnetic bombard to deadly effect The Magenta Battlefleet Set builds five multi-part plastic and resin miniatures; 1x Battlecruiser Each Battlecruiser can alternatively be built as either Magenta or a Saint-Michel Class ship 2x Levant Cruiser Each Cruiser can alternatively be built as either a Chasseur, Furieux or Voliere Class ship 2x Submarine Each Submarinecan alternatively be built as either a Epaulard Artillery or Sirene Class boat 2x SRS Token Please Note: Miniatures are supplied unpainted and unassembled. WARCRADLE Dystopian Wars: Hachiman Battlefleet Set

    Out of stock, 1-3 weeks

Squadrons of deadly Rin Exosubs can launch from the Hachiman's twin magnetic accelerator tubes. These nimble automata skim the surface before plunging beneath the waves, reconfiguring into a torpedo-like form. Devastating the enemy at close range, the Exosubs rocket to the surface in flight mode and return to the Hachiman for redeployment. All the coastal nations of the Empire design, build and crew their own sea-going vessels. Osaka cruisers are a source of great pride within the Empire, and the expansion of their borders necessitates deploying them more visibly, something that has been welcomed by Japanese commanders especially. Squadrons of Chubu Hunter Submarines prowl the Sea of Japan and beyond looking for targets of opportunity. These deadly vessels are armed with multiple torpedo launchers to achieve a swift kill. The Japanese favour Kyoto fast frigates when running their patrols between the far-flung islands of their homeland. The vessels are ideally suited for this task and for new sailors a year on a Kyoto is their first experience of the proud naval traditions of the Blazing Sun. Contents: 1x Hachiman Assault Carrier (may also be built as Akita or Matsumoto Class) 3x Cruisers (may be built as Osaka, Kanagawa, Honshu, Hokkaido, Miyagi, Okinawa, Yamaguchi or Ishikawa Class) 12x Chita Automata 3x Submersibles (may be built as Koromodako, Kensai, Ryujin, Mizuchi, Umibozu or Kagutsuchi Class) 6x Kyoto Frigates 3x Chubu Submarines 3x Sakata Destroyers 3x Rin Exosub Tokens 3x SRS Tokens Please Note: Miniatures are supplied unpainted and some assembly will be required.

WARCRADLE Dystopian Wars: Kongo Battlefleet Set

    Out of stock, 1-3 weeks

Of all the Battleships upon the seas in the last 50 years the Britannia Class of the Crown has been considered the heaviest. That is until the Empire launched the Kongo Class Heavy Battleship. One of the deadliest warships to ply the seas of the Dystopian Age, the Kongo is crewed by some of the finest sailors in all of Japan. The design of this behemoth was always aimed at making it as armoured as possible while still retaining speed and manoeuvrability as much as the best Japanese naval engineers could manage. Named after a legendary mountain in the Osaka Prefecture, this vessel truly lives up to the name. With thick armour plates and formidable weapons the Kongo class are the pride of the Japanese fleet. The supporting cruisers that are assigned to Battlefleets alongside the Kongo vary greatly. From the imposing Hokkaido Heavy Cruiser down to the nimble Kanagawa Monitor there is a cruiser variant for every mission. Japanese Cruiser groups are typically accompanied by Chita Submersible Automata. These engineering wonders are equal to the mechanical creations of the Covenant of the Enlightened and are used to protect the fleet from threats beneath the waves as well as assisting in assaults. While the Chita are designed to operate independently for lengthy periods, they lack the endurance of the much larger Kaiju class automata. Ishikawa strike cruisers and Yamaguchi Attack Cruisers are essential in maintaining these escorts far from a drydock, their moon pools enabling repairs and refuelling of the Chita to take place. The Okinawa and Miyagi Class Cruisers are equipped with limited numbers of reconnaissance aircraft that act as spotters and limited aerial defence. When needs must they can also perform bombing runs on enemy shipping but usually only when supported by other aerial units. The Japanese favour Kyoto frigates when running their patrols between the far-flungislands of their homeland. The vessels are ideally suited for this task and for new sailors a year on a Kyoto is their first experience of the proud naval traditions of the Blazing Sun. The Kongo Battlefleet Set builds eleven multi-part plastic & resin miniatures; 1x Kongo Heavy Battleship 2x Osaka Cruisers Each Cruiser can alternatively be built as either Kanagawa, Hokkaido, Okinawa, Miyagi, Yamaguchi, Ishikawa or Honshu Cruiser 4x Kyoto Frigates 4x Chita Automata 2x SRS Tokens Please note: Miniatures are supplied unpainted and some assembly will be required. WARCRADLE Dystopian Wars: Empire Frontline Squadrons

    Out of stock, 1-3 weeks

The Navy of the Celestian Empire is the brainchild of Empress Shinzua, who as Speaker of the fleets quickly moved to control all aspects of nautical warfare in addition to her originally more prosaic areas of responsibility. The Empire is considered a global naval power, especially after their victories at Tsushima and Myeongnyang during the Anglo-Russian Korean Expedition. All of the coastal nations of the Empire design, build and crew their own sea-going vessels, but all ultimately serve the Blazing Sun. Warships are a source of great pride within the Empire, and the expansion of their borders necessitates deploying them more visibly, something that has been welcomed by the Empire's Admiralty. The warships of China are the most numerous in the Empire's navy. Their prow mounted chemical flame cannons, known as Huoqiang, make them formidable in any conflict and Chinese ships form the core of most of the Empire's Battlefleets. The cruisers of the Chinese mount the deadly Huoqiang along with a mix of heavy guns and rockets. The crews of the Shanghai frigates are extensively drilled in working in large squadrons and can coordinate attacks with devastating effect. With the glut of manpower at its command, China's shipyards are capable of churning out large numbers of cruisers and frigates giving it dominance in naval affairs countered only by the elite vessels of Japan. The Empire Frontline Squadrons kit builds seven multi-part plastic and resin miniatures; 2x Jian Class Cruisers Each Cruiser can alternatively be built as either Dao, Meru or Wusong Class 4x Shanghai Class Frigates Please note: Miniatures are supplied unpainted and some assembly will be required. WARCRADLE Dystopian Wars: Ning Jing Battlefleet Set

    Out of stock, 1-3 weeks

The Navy of the Celestian Empire is the brainchild of Empress Shinzua, who as Speaker of the fleets quickly moved to control all aspects of nautical warfare in addition to her originally more prosaic areas of responsibility. The Ning Jing class Battleship is a versatile vessel and, like a lot of Chinese vessels, tends to favour rocket battery salvos to the more traditional heavy gun batteries. The crews are all well trained in the use of these weapons and once a target has been marked by an initial salvo the rest seldom miss their targets. Developed in the same shipyards, Yangtze Command Ships are a rarer sister-class. The Yangtze eschews two of the heavy turrets and instead mounts a trio of high calibre, long-barrelled ordnance known as Erlang Shen which can cripple enemy vessels and shore defences alike. The cruisers of the Chinese also mount the deadly Huoqiang along with a mix of heavy guns and rockets. WARCRADLE Dystopian Wars: Legends of the Crown

    Out of stock, 1-3 weeks

The prototype submersible Nautilus was famously appropriated from the Crown by the daring and swashbuckling privateer Captain Rani Nimue. Her loyal and eclectic crew have adventured the globe, their tales of seeking legendary artefacts and fabulous treasures are the fodder of lurid tales that captivate all who hear them. As a mercenary, the Nautilus serves any with the coin, even the Crown who reluctantly must pay for the services of their own erstwhile submersible.  The flagship of the Canadian Atlantic Defence Fleet, the HMCS Tilloch Galt gained renown in action against the Imperium during their attempt on the Labrador Sea in 1873 and against the Commonwealth during the Ghosts of Midwinter in 1876. She inspires any battlefleet she fights alongside and has become a symbol of Canadian naval power. Merchant vessels making the long journey between the British Isles and Canada cheer in welcome when they come under the protection of the Tilloch Galt and her unbreakable Guardian Generator array.  Contents: 1x The Nautilus 1x HMCS Tilloch Galt 5x Escorts Please Note: Miniatures are supplied unpainted, and some assembly will be required.

The waters of this particular stretch of the Bay of Bengal were quiet for now, but they would remain so. When the Empire battlefleet that was massing in the Andaman Sea arrived they would become a roiling, violent tempest. The line drawn between the territories of the Crown and the Empire may not be literal lines through the ocean, but as soon as an unwelcome vessel crossed from one territory to the other alarms would be raised and fighters launched. Ceylon platforms supported by Nagaraja Tactical Cruisers and their escorts were running drills in anticipation of the predicted attack. The crews were tense and tired but they had no doubt that they would repel the assault from the Empire, they had done so before and would do so again. WARCRADLE Dystopian Wars: Ganges Battlefleet Set

    Out of stock, 1-3 weeks

Thanks in part to the East India Trading Company, the influence of The Crown spread across much of the globe. As such, they must defend their holdings with all they have, to prevent their colonies from being blockaded or worse. This has led to a contract with the House of Scindia of the Gwalior Princely State for locally constructed and specialised craft being incorporated into the Crown’s Indian and Pacific Ocean Fleets, as well as the EITC. The Ganges Battle Cruiser and Devaki Littoral Monitor in particular, became much relied on as exemplary vessels, well suited to coastal action. A shallow draft and a pared-back design, reminiscent of an earlier age of Crown industry, might give the mistaken impression that these are not up to the task of warfare in the Dystopian Age. However, with the scattered territories constantly imperilled by local revolution and piracy, these vessels see a great deal of action. Engineering focused on the fundamentals of shipbuilding makes maintaining an operational Fleet far more practical, with the warships spending on average a third less time out of action than their British counterparts and nearly fifty percent less compared to the Canadians. Contents: 1x Ganges Battlecruiser (may also be built as Palashi Class) 2x Nagaraja Tactical Cruiser (may also be built as Indus, Godavari, Devaki or Chanura Class) 2x Platform 4x Escort 2x Landing Token Please Note: Miniatures are supplied unpainted and some assembly may be required

When HMS Gloriana was launched in 1851, she was an apex predator without rival. Even today, these imposing vessels are able to rout entire battlefleets alone and fear nothing, giving rise to vessels in her image being desired by all the Great Powers, but never exceeded. Tough and reliable airships, the Prydain has served the Crown for two decades, replacing the Glaisher class war balloons after the debacle during the Rout at Mboto Gorge. Despite their age, the Prydain still prove to be more than a match for the latest aeronautic vessels of the other Great Powers. Reliable workhorses of the Crown's aerial ambitions, squadrons of Tintagels patrol every corner of the globe. Bow-mounted detectors reveal enemy submersibles to allies and embarked troops are ready to drop in and storm enemy fortifications. While the hull has remained relatively unchanged for more than fifty years, the Albion class Cruisers have received a regular schedule of upgrades integrating newer technology to keep these venerable vessels relevant and capable in this Dystopian Age. Crews of Caliburn Frigates are renowned for their fearlessness in the face of larger and more deadly adversaries. Though some will be lost in the attempt, they valiantly battle in her Majesty's name. WARCRADLE Dystopian Wars: Avalon Battlefleet Set

    Out of stock, 1-3 weeks

Suspended on galvanic rotors, these Sky Fortresses are only made possible by the engineers at Bletchley and the wootz-steel Sturginium alloys used in their construction. Her Majesty's amusement was shown when the Avalon-class, the Victoria, flew over Horse Guards Parade, causing the cavalry to rear up and dislodge their riders into the rain-soaked ground.
