The smartest minds of our generation are gathering together at the Great Science Fair. Everyone's been working hard on their creations, but only one will be crowned champion. Contestants have to think on the fly to build their machines quickly and efficiently. Whose project will be the best?
In Gizmos, you win the game by gaining victory points from building engines. And engines help you get things done faster. Whoever builds the greatest machine and collects the most victory points wins!
At the beginning of the game, you have 4 actions:
File : Put a card in the public to your Archive, allow you to build it later.
Pick : Take one energy marble from the 3D marble dispenser, to your storage.
Build : Build one machine and put it on action! You have to pay the marbles with colors corresponding to the card cost.
Research : Draw some cards, and you can then File or Build one of the drawn cards. The rest go to the bottom of their deck.
Machines give you victory points, and allow you to do more actions when conditions are met. As you build, new attachments can trigger chain reactions, letting you do even more on your turn.
In Hibachi: Fired Up!, you will take the role of a flamboyant chef who must throw chips into the cooking area to acquire the ingredients you need to cook delicious recipes!
Target the ingredients the customers are asking for!
Aim, throw, crash, and bash your chips!
Sizzle the steak, steam the rice, and serve up the best dishes!
Push your opponents to steal their spot!
After each round of throwing is complete, money and ingredients will change hands, and if a chef is ready, they will then cook a dish to perfection. The first to complete three recipes will be the one who impresses the customers enough to win!
This is a new edition of Hibachi (not an expansion), that features faster and more streamlined rules.
As a team of wildlife rangers, your mission is to ensure the well-being of different species in your wildlife reserve while protecting them from potential threats. In The Peak Team, a cooperative game by Scott Almes, 1-5 rangers work together to complete a variety of challenging tasks.
The main board represents the wildlife reserve, dominated by a towering mountain divided into distinct regions. Using a "reverse-drafting" mechanic, where each player assigns their cards to others, rangers will acquire the tools they need to explore the mountain via different paths and transportation systems.
By reaching various locations and observing wildlife, players will complete their personal missions and earn bonuses. Each ranger has two mission slots that fill up as soon as tasks are accomplished. Only by completing all missions before running out of actions will the rangers successfully fulfill their duty!
The Peak Team is built around a tiered level system, with the game increasing in difficulty and complexity as sessions progress. It strikes a careful balance between accessibility for newcomers and a rewarding challenge for seasoned players.
Enhanced by Crocotame's stunning illustrations, The Peak Team is set for release at Essen 2025.
A ray of moonlight shines in the clearing. The fairies wake up and stretch their wings. Mushrooms pop up from the ground, forming a circle. The first fireflies start to land. Magic is returning to the forest, and now it's time to prepare for winter...
In Fairy Ring, you want to create a mushroom village to house the fairies in the clearing. Guide your fairy carefully, from village to village, through the fairy ring to gather as much mana as possible. You have two seasons to develop your village before winter begins. Each decision counts towards winning the game.
In Forest Shuffle, players compete to gather the most valuable trees, then attract species to these trees, thus creating an ecologically balanced habitat for flora and fauna.
To start, each player has six cards in hand, with cards depicting either a particular type of tree or two forest dwellers (animal, plant, mushroom, etc.), with these latter cards being divided in half, whether vertically or horizontally, with one dweller in each card half.
On a turn, either draw two cards — whether face down from the deck or face up from the clearing — and add them to your hand, or play a card from your hand by paying the cost, then putting it into play.
During set-up, three winter cards were placed into the bottom third of the deck. When the third winter card is drawn, the game ends immediately, then players tally their points based on the trees and dwellers in their forest. Whoever scores the most points wins.
Forest Shuffle is the first in a line of Lookout games sporting the Lookout Greenline label, produced on FSC certified paper and avoiding plastic completely.
The heron flies over the Himeji sky while the Daimyo, from the top of the castle, watches his servants move. Gardeners tend the pond, where the koi carp live, warriors stand guard on the walls, and courtiers crowd the gates, pining for an audience that brings them closer to the innermost circles of the court. When night falls, the lanterns are lit and the workers return to their clan.
In The White Castle, players will control one of these clans in order to score more victory points than the rest. To do so, they must amass influence in the court, manage resources boldly, and place their workers in the right place at the right time. The authors are Sheila Santos and Israel Cendrero, the duo known as Llama Dice who also designed the successful The Red Cathedral with Devir. In this case, we leave the Moscow of Ivan the Terrible behind to explore the most imposing fortress in modern Japan, Himeji Castle, where the banner of the Sakai clan flies under the orders of Daimyo Sakai Tadakiyo.
The White Castle is a Euro type game with mechanics of resource management, worker placement and dice placement to carry out actions. During the game, over three rounds, players will send members of their clan to tend the gardens, defend the castle or progress up the social ladder of the nobility. At the end of the match, these will award players victory points in a variety of ways.
The central panel shows Himeji Castle in all its splendor, divided into several zones. The largest is inside the castle, with the Room of the Thousand Carpets, where the courtiers must ascend socially until they reach the circle closest to the Daimyo to enjoy his favor. There is also the pond and the gardens, patiently tended by the gardeners where everyone can relax and contemplate its beauty without restriction. Another important area is the wall and the outside of the castle, where the warriors patrol and stand guard. Finally, we find the area of the three bridges, where the three types of dice that can be used to carry out actions are accumulated, and the personal domain of each player, where they will keep track of their resources and where they will have the reserve of workers.
With accessible rules and a very careful setting, The White Castle is a very versatile title that will fit in with different gaming groups. As is tradition with Llama Dice titles, its sleek and simple design belies a great deal of strategic depth within the grasp of players.
Introduced by the Moors, azulejos (originally white and blue ceramic tiles) were fully embraced by the Portuguese when their king Manuel I, on a visit to the Alhambra palace in Southern Spain, was mesmerized by the stunning beauty of the Moorish decorative tiles. The king, awestruck by the interior beauty of the Alhambra, immediately ordered that his own palace in Portugal be decorated with similar wall tiles. As a tile-laying artist, you have been challenged to embellish the walls of the Royal Palace of Evora.
In the game Azul, players take turns drafting colored tiles from suppliers to their player board. Later in the round, players score points based on how they've placed their tiles to decorate the palace. Extra points are scored for specific patterns and completing sets; wasted supplies harm the player's score. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins.

With its elegantly simple mechanics, Ticket to Ride is quick to learn, taking less than 15 minutes to grasp, yet it offers deep strategic and tactical choices with every turn. Players gather cards representing different types of train cars to claim railway routes across North America. Longer routes yield more points, and additional points can be earned by completing Destination Tickets, which connect distant cities, or by building the longest continuous route.
Ticket to Ride author Alan R. Moon explains, "The rules are straightforward enough to fit on a train ticket – on your turn, you either draw more cards, claim a route, or pick up additional Destination Tickets. The real challenge lies in balancing the temptation to accumulate more cards against the fear of losing crucial routes to your opponents."
Staying true to Days of Wonder's reputation for high-quality, large-format board games, Ticket to Ride features a large board map of North America, 225 custom-molded train cars, 144 illustrated cards, and wooden scoring markers.

Vantage is an open-world, co-operative, non-campaign adventure game that features an entire planet to explore, with players communicating while scattered across the world. With nearly eight hundred interconnected locations on four hundred cards and over nine hundred other discoverable cards, the world is your sandbox.
You begin each game of Vantage on an intergalactic vessel heading towards an uncharted planet. After crashing far from your companions, you have complete freedom as to how you explore, discover, and interact with the planet. You view your location from a first-person perspective, and you can communicate with and support other players, but you are separated by vast distances, so only you can see your current location.
In addition to a mission victory, a destiny victory, or an epic victory (completing both the mission and a destiny), you may define success in Vantage through anything you pursue and achieve.
Vantage is not a campaign game. Each game is a standalone experience; you bring to future sessions only what you’ve learned about the world. It is completely self-contained with no expansions — just a few accessories like metal coins.
Did you know that playing board games offer a range of learning experiences for our little ones? Board games can support the development of social skills, such as turn taking, communicating, problem solving and resilience when things don’t go our way. Most games also have a mathematical element too, whether that’s number recognition, counting, subitising or matching.
